The end of the year is the time we all collectively look back on the work we've done and what we've accomplished. I'd like to extend this reflection to our work at Insight this year.
To start off, we performed the Power of Three at the Fisk House, Clocktower Salon, and Shanon Kavanaugh House.
In May, we produced our first collaboration with the Van Ness Trio and did a deep dive into the Bach Goldberg Variations.
In the summer we were off to Italy! We spend three joyous weeks in the heart of Umbria giving chamber concerts in Orvieto and collaborating with other musicians from accross the world with Orvieto Musica.
We returned to the city with many stories to tell at our program Atlas, featuring Telemann's Gulliver Intrada, and selections form Bartok's 44 duos...
...And finished strong with our last cycle of the year, On the Same Page with returning artists Meghan Crosby-Jolliffe and Dana Marie Chan premiering two new works by resident composers Cooper Grosscup and José Daniel Vargas.
Thank YOU for sharing these musical memories with us and for supporting your local arts! To see more photos of past concerts, stop by our photo archive.
Our fundraising goal to support next year's concerts is $30,000! We have many exciting concerts planned and can't wait to share them with you—but we need your support to make them happen. Remember to take advantage of our nonprofit status by making your tax-deductible donation before the end of the year.
Thank you for being a part of this chapter in Insight's history! I can't wait to see you again when we are back for our spirng concerts in March 2025 but until then, I wish you a wonderful holiday season!
Sincerely,
